PRINCESS SYMPHONIC PREMIERE 

Princess, from the musical revue Sing On Through Tomorrow, has made its symphonic debut performed by Lucy Durack in Witches, a world premiere concert featuring the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House. Four leading ladies of the Australian stage, Lucy Durack, Amanda Harrison, Helen Dallimore and Jemma Rix have played the roles of Elphaba and Glinda to critical acclaim in Australia, New Zealand, London and Asia and now join together in an evening featuring the songs of magic, persuasion and power, including songs from Wicked, Frozen, The Witches of Eastwick, Into the Woods, Jekyll & Hyde and Love Never Dies. In Good Company 

On May 1st, Adelaide played host to Matthew Lee Robinson - In Good Company. A line up of Robinson's nearest and dearest sang from across his musicals for a one night only sold out audience. Local and interstate favourites included Emma Bargery, Baylie Carson, Amity Dry, Nick Hedger, Rosanne Hosking, Ben Nicholson, Kirsty Roberts, Mark Stefanoff and Zac Tyler.

NEW VOICES WORKSHOP & SHOWCASE RETURNS TO MELBOURNE AND ADELAIDE 

Matthew returns from New York City for a limited time to lead his New Voices workshop and showcase series in Adelaide in April and Melbourne in June. Each participant will personally be assigned a song from Robinson's catalogue of award-winning musicals including World Premiere material recently developed in New York City directed by Tony-winning Newsies creative Christopher Gattelli. Participants will receive a private coaching session, participate in a two-day group workshop and feature in an exclusive showcase concert. For all details head to NEW VOICES.

NYC READING OF ATLANTIS DIRECTED BY CHRISTOPHER GATTELLI 

 
Tony-winning Newsies creative Christopher Gattelli has just completed directing a New York City reading of ATLANTIS for an invited audience of Robinson's dramaturgical mentors. The reading was produced by Greg Schaffert (Peter and the Starcatcher) and the creative team was completed by Musical Director Lily Ling (Off Broadway's John & Jen), Associate Director Mark Schneider (Beautiful), with Additional Story by Scott Morris and Percussion care of Jamie Drake. The cast included a swag of Broadway and National Touring artists including Adam J. Rennie, Arielle Jacobs, Shannon O'Byrne, Aaron Ramey, Anika Larsen, Stacia Fernandez, Ixchel Cuellar, Jenn Gambatese, Heather Brorsen, Andi Alhadeff, Mike Longo, Ben McHugh, Mike Evariste and Cornelius Davis. JUNIOR THESPIAN FESTIVAL 2016 

On February 12th, Matthew headed to Texas to be the Keynote Speaker and Concert Guest at the 2016 Junior Thespian Festival. Middle school students from across the U.S. gathered in Denison to participate in workshops and perform excerpts from plays and musicals, all while celebrating how theatre changes the lives of students throughout their school years. Matthew was interviewed by Educational Theatre Association's Deputy Executive Director Doug Berlon, and performed songs from across his current musicals in development, including the world premiere of a brand new song.

GOODSPEED MUSICALS WRITERS COLONY 

Matthew has headed north to Goodspeed Musicals in Connecticut to conceive a new original musical with co-book writer Scott Morris as part of the 2016 Johnny Mercer Writers Colony. With the working title REWRITE, the show will have new songs premiered twice a week as part of in-house writer salons at the Goodspeed residences. JUNIOR THEATER FESTIVAL 2016 

Broadway's Corey Cott (Newsies, Gigi) and Ryann Redmond (Bring It On: The Musical, If/Then) join Matthew for the 2016 iTheatrics Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta tomorrow night to perform songs from ATLANTIS and Happy People for over 5,000 young performers and their teachers from across the United States. Robinson and Redmond will also appear alongside Tony-nominated songwriting team Pasek and Paul, award-winning novelist Jodi Picoult and Broadway artist Cory Lingner in the Junior Theater Festival Pathways performance on Sunday.

LINCOLN CENTER VIDEO RELEASE 

The entire Lincoln Center Broadway's Future Songbook Series concert featuring the music of Matthew Lee Robinson has now been officially released. Head to LINCOLN CENTER CONCERT to watch performances by Broadway and Australian artists including Ciara Renée, Ellen Harvey, Tim Young, Russell Fischer, Lindsay K. LINCOLN CENTER DEBUT 

As announced by Playbill, an all-star cast gathered on November 30th to perform the songs of Matthew Lee Robinson at his Lincoln Center debut as part of Broadway's Future Songbook Series, produced and hosted by John Znidarsic. A mixture of interviews and performances, the evening gave an extended insight into the musicals in development ATLANTIS and HAPPY PEOPLE, including the U.S. premiere of new songs. Stars of Broadway and Australian theatre featured on the night were Ciara Renée (Pippin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, TV’s The Flash), Ellen Harvey (How To Succeed, The Phantom of the Opera), Tim Young (Next To Normal), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Lindsay K. BROADWAY DREAMS NYC SHOWCASE FEATURES SING ON THROUGH TOMORROW 

Tonight marks the U.S. premiere of the closing number from Sing On Through Tomorrow, to be performed by Broadway Dreams Foundation alumni from around the country at their New York City showcase at Lincoln Center. The show will also feature work and performances of BDF faculty including Glee's Alex Newell, Nick Adams (Priscilla: Queen of the Desert) and Mark Myars (If/Then, Wicked), plus new works written by Rupert Holmes, Tim Acito, Michael Patrick Walker and more.
