Direct from his Carnegie Hall debut in New York, Australian composer/lyricist and performer Matthew Lee Robinson leads this two-day workshop in Perth which merges the fear management and career building strategies that have seen him grow from starring in musicals for Opera Australia to having his own works performed on some of the world’s largest stages including the Sydney Opera House, South Korea’s Daegu Opera House and New York City’s Lincoln Center. Balancing the mental toll of auditions, showcases and performances with the constant change involved with a life in the arts, is a skill rarely taught. Participants will develop a knowledge of fear response, self-limiting beliefs, mindfulness and manifestation, and by extension apply these to a song or monologue of their own choosing. Build a career from a place of wellness. Learn to fear less.
“Matty has an effect on people that’s so inspiring. He’s been a bedrock of calm and creativity for me across the years. I’m so excited he’s sharing this work with Australia.”
